Job summary

The Lakes Home Care Services is hiring Home Health Aides to support patients at home under their plan of care. You will assist with baths, oral hygiene, dressing, feeding, transfers, and safety, following training and competency standards.

This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care. Requirements include CPR certification, ability to read and follow written instructions, and completion of Maxim competency program, with state/federal compliance.

Qualifications

• Meets training requirements per state and federal laws.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care.
• Must maintain CPR certification as required.
• Complete Maxim screening examinations and Maxim competency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living per plan of care (baths, hygiene, dressing, feeding).
• Take and record vitals when ordered (temperature, pulse, respiration, BP).
• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and ROM as directed.
• Observe patient condition and report changes to nurse supervisor.
• Ensure safety and use equipment properly; provide home safety teaching.
