Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) / Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide in-home support and companionship. You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, and daily living tasks, while promoting comfort and safety for clients in Massachusetts.

The role includes meal prep, light housekeeping, and driving to appointments where needed. Training is provided, with benefits and career growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Active MA certification: CNA, HHA, or PHCAST Homemaker/PC courses.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with errands and transportation to appointments.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment.
