Job summary

Elara Caring is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) in Massachusetts to provide compassionate personal care at clients' homes. You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, light housekeeping and companionship, while promoting safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Active certifications in MA: CNA/HHA or PHCAST Homemaker/PC courses.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers and daily living activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Perform housekeeping, laundry and household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping and transportation to appointments
• Promote a safe, comfortable and respectful environment
