Job summary

Elara Caring is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Aide (PCA), or Homemaker to support clients at home in Massachusetts. The role provides compassionate, in-home personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and a benefits package. The position emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and a patient, caring demeanor, with travel to client homes and up to 50 pounds lifting capability.

Qualifications

• Certification in MA: CNA/HHA or PHCAST required.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with elderly or disabled care preferred.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and light household tasks.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands and transportation to appointments when applicable.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment for each client.
