Right at Home Indianapolis West is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, monitor health, follow care plans, and support families with training and resources.

Qualifications

• Six months experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in health care (in homes or facilities).
• Successfully completed a State approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) course.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Current CPR Certificate is recommended.
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and meet requirements for direct patient care.
• Valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, hygiene, mobility).
• Assist with meals, dressing, grooming and light housekeeping.
• Support with devices for activities of daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair).
• Take vital signs and measure intake/output as instructed.
• Provide patient-centered care and maintain a safe, supportive home environment.
