Job summary
Right at Home is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home support to seniors and adults with disabilities in the Indianapolis area. You will assist with daily activities, monitor well-being, and help clients stay independent in their own homes.
Ideal candidates have six months CNA experience, a valid driver's license, and a strong commitment to patient comfort and safety. Training is provided; flexible schedules and competitive pay are offered to fit your lifestyle.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Six months CNA experience in health care.
- State-approved CNA course completed.
- Sympathetic attitude toward care.
- Current CPR is recommended.
- Reads, writes and speaks English.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting and ambulation.
- Support meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Take vital signs as directed by a nurse.
- Assist with mobility devices and transfers.
- Provide compassionate companionship and patient-focused care.
- Document and report changes to supervising nurse.
