Right at Home Indianapolis West is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in home care. You will assist clients with daily living activities, meals, and mobility, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Training is provided, and you will work within a supportive team in a community-based setting. The role requires CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, English proficiency, and a caring, dependable attitude.

Qualifications

• Six months experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in health care and completion of a State approved CNA course.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and ability to deal with job demands.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile or access to transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals within dietary guidelines and assist with prescribed care plans.
• Support with use of devices for daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair).
• Take vital signs and reinforce dressings as directed by a nurse.
• Provide care with compassion in the client’s home, ensuring safety and comfort.
