Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Terre Haute, IN seeks a Home Health Aide to provide hands‑on personal care in patients' homes under licensed staff supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, observe patient status, and follow care plans to promote safety and independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient‑centered care, infection control, and teamwork with nurses and therapists. Current CNA certification and CPR are required, with eligibility to meet state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification or registration as per state requirements.
• CNA experience within the last two years; if more than two years, complete additional training before services.
• Must successfully pass the competency program of the care center.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtains vital signs including temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy home environment.
• Assists patient with ADLs: bed mobility, bathing, hygiene, and toileting.
• Prepares and assists with meals; light homemaking as needed.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to licensed staff.
• Follows care plans and infection prevention protocols; assists with prescribed exercises.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
