Zusammenfassung

UnitedHealth Group is hiring a Home Health Aide to provide hands-on personal care to patients in their residences under supervision of licensed staff. You will support daily living activities, promote patient safety and quality of life in a home setting.

Responsibilities include vital signs, meal support, hygiene, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and following individualized care plans. Required CNA certification and CPR, with training and competency programs completed as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Must complete training and competency program before providing services if CNA experience not recent.
• Must pass the competency program of the care center.

Aufgaben

• Obtains temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Assists patient with bed mobility, bathing, hygiene and toileting.
• Prepares and provides meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs light homemaking and environmental services.
• Observes, reports and documents changes in patient status.
• Supports basic body functioning and reports changes as needed.
• Recognizes emergencies and follows care center emergency procedures.
• Adheres to infection control and safety policies.
• Follows written instructions per plan of care.
• Assists with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
