Job summary

Owens, a Friesen Group Company, seeks a dependable Full-Time Field Technician to deliver, install, and demonstrate durable medical equipment (DME) to patients in their homes and healthcare facilities.

You will educate patients on equipment use, ensure devices are clean and functioning, and document activities accurately while maintaining safety and compassionate care in home environments. Opportunities for growth and comprehensive training are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous DME or healthcare-related field experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment such as oxygen, hospital beds, mobility aids, and related supplies.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the safe and proper use of equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, properly functioning, and compliant with company standards.
• Document deliveries, service activities, and patient interactions accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a professional and compassionate presence while working in homes and healthcare settings.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and respond to urgent service needs as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Other duties as needed
