Job summary

Suncrest Companion Services, a part of the Optum family, is hiring PRN Home-based Caregivers in Waycross, GA. Provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and help clients stay safely in their own homes while using EVV systems.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, BLS certification; CPR preferred; 6+ months home care experience; flexible hours and ability to work independently. Pay ranges from $13 to $20 per hour, with benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• BLS Certification.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire (preferred).
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
