Optum is hiring PRN Caregivers for Blackshear and nearby areas to provide in-home support, personal care, and daily living assistance. You will help with bathing, meals, transportation, and monitoring client health while documenting observations in the EVV system.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, BLS certification, and the ability to work flexible hours. CPR certification is preferred, with prior home care experience recommended.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with vehicle insurance and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• BLS Certification.
• CPR certification preferred or able to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
