Job summary

Cheer Home Care in La Jolla and North County San Diego is actively hiring experienced in-home caregivers to provide compassionate non-medical care to the elderly and disabled. The role focuses on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to help clients live safely at home.

Pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, with 4-12 hour shifts available Monday through Sunday. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, weekly payments, and training support.

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate non-medical home care to the elderly and disabled.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility as needed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and non-medical support to clients at home.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and light meal prep.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and errands.
• Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Hospice care as appropriate.
• Perform light housekeeping and homemaking tasks.
