Job summary

Golden Poppy Caregiving is seeking a Personal Care Attendant to provide non-medical services in a client's home and community settings. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, medication reminders, housekeeping, meal planning, shopping, and companionship to help clients stay in their own residence.

The role requires compassion, reliability and adherence to agency policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Clearance Verified on the Home Care Aide Registry.
Current TB certificate.
Valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents.
Completed “Criminal Record Statement” (LIC 508).
Complete “Personnel Record” (LIC 501)
Complete “Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders” (SOC 341A)
Current drivers’ license & vehicle coverage (if transporting clients or running errands)
Minimum of five (5) hours entry-level training prior to presence with client(s).

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living and personal care including bathing, dressing, and ambulation.
Provide mouth care, exercising, hair care, feeding, and toileting/incontinence care.
Assist with nail care, positioning, and medication reminders.
Support skin care, transferring, and meal planning & preparation.
