Job summary

Golden Poppy Caregiving provides non-medical in-home care to clients, helping with daily living activities and personal care in their own homes and communities. Caregivers assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, housekeeping, meal planning, and companionship to promote independence and safety.

Responsibilities include reminding about medications, supporting personal hygiene, and performing routine household tasks in a compassionate, respectful manner per agency policies and state

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Clearance verified on the Home Care Aide Registry.
• Current TB certificate.
• Valid I-9 employment documentation.
• Completed LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement.
• Completed LIC 501 Personnel Record.
• Statement SOC 341A acknowledgement.
• Current driver's license and vehicle coverage if transporting clients.
• Minimum of five hours entry-level training before client contact.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Bathing, shaving, ambulation and mobility assistance.
• Hair care, feeding, toileting and incontinence care.
• Medication reminders and basic skin/nail care.
• Meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping as needed.
