Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Half Moon Bay is seeking compassionate home care aides to support seniors at home with nonmedical services. Roles include following care plans, assisting with ADLs, and driving to appointments.

No experience is required; paid training is provided; must be 18+, have CA HCA Registry and background check, and a valid driver's license.

This role offers flexible shifts (part-time or full-time, mornings to nights) and the chance to make a real difference in clients' daily lives.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older with required schooling.
• Current registration with the California Home Care Aide Registry and paid training.
• Successful criminal background check and TB testing.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Help with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing.
• Assist with transfers, positioning and ambulation.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and meal planning.
• Maintain records of services performed and hours worked.
