Job summary

JEVS Care at Home is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist clients with daily living according to their care plan. Training on ADLs and PPE is provided, along with CPR/First Aid and dementia training as part of professional development.

All caregivers complete orientation, pass a post-orientation exam, and maintain client confidentiality under HIPAA. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and be 18+.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Must pass written exam and orientation with 80% score.
• US citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with daily living per care plan.
• Provide training and access to PPE as needed.
• Encourage independent living as part of care philosophy.
• Complete competency exam after training; annual recertification.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
