Personal Home Care of North Carolina is seeking energetic and dedicated skilled caregivers to provide excellent patient care as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA). You will work under supervision to assist clients in their homes or in a healthcare facility, helping with daily living activities and documenting progress.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, mobility, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and coordinating with RNs and family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification or CNA/PCA experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a national background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift and move clients.

A Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities to individuals who are unable to perform these tasks on their own. The PCA will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed therapist to provide care to clients in their homes or in a healthcare facility.

Personal Home Care of NC (PHC) is a rapidly growing full-service home care/home health agency looking for energetic and dedicated skilled caregivers that can fulfill the needs of our growing patient population. We are looking for dedicated PCAs to provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

Requirements:

• Certification as a CNA or prior CNA/PCA experience

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Physical Demands:

The PCA will be required to lift and move clients, as well as perform other physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching. The job may also require standing or walking for extended periods of time.

The PCA will work in clients' homes. The job may require exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
