Job summary

Almost Family in Louisville, KY is seeking a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant to provide in-home support, helping clients stay safe and independent at home. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders, while keeping a clean, safe living space.

CPR certification is preferred and prior home care experience is valued; flexible hours help meet client needs. Pay ranges $13–$20 per hour with benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or can be completed within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides or assists clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care and transfers.
• Assists with household tasks essential to personal care and accompanies client to appointments or errands.
• Measures and records vital signs when ordered; prepares meals per client diet; maintains a safe home environment.
