Willcare, a part of the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant I or II to support individuals at home in the Town of New Windsor, NY.

You will provide environmental, nutritional, and personal care tasks, assist with activities of daily living, accompany to appointments, and help maintain a safe home environment. We offer competitive pay and benefits eligibility within a caring team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance, or access to reliable public transportation.
• Completed a home health aide training program or equivalent exam, or one year of home care experience.
• Preferred CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet patient needs.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care).
• Provide environmental and nutritional support, and personal care in the home.
• Record vital signs as ordered and report changes to the supervisor.
• Escort clients to medical appointments or essential errands when needed.

Connaissances
