Willcare in New York is seeking Per Diem Personal Care Assistants I or II to support individuals at home. You will provide environmental, nutritional and personal care, manage daily activities and assist with meals and mobility in a client’s home.

Position requires NY training or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and flexibility in hours; CPR is preferred. Pay ranges $13–$20 per hour, with benefits and advancement opportunities within UnitedHealth Group family contexts.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• NY: Must have completed a training program in home health aide services OR equivalent exam OR one full year experience in providing personal care services through a home care agency OR training program in personal care services.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required.

Responsabilités

• Provide environmental and nutritional support, personal care and household tasks to help clients remain at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, medication reminders and transfer assistance.
• Record observations and report to supervisor; accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and assist with meals and mobility aids.
• Utilize required verification systems (Electronic Visit Verification) and follow training limitations.
