Job summary

Willcare, a part of LHC Group within the Optum family, seeks a Personal Care Assistant I or II to provide environmental, nutritional and personal care support so clients can stay at home. You will perform daily living activities, assist with mobility, meals, and accompany to appointments.

Responsibilities include documenting care, using EVV, and ensuring a clean, safe home environment. NY-specific training or one year home care experience is preferred, with flexible hours available.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, or access to dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• NY: must have completed a training program in home health aide services or equivalent exam or one full year experience in home care.
• Six months+ experience in home care preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming) and basic household tasks.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of equipment.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client condition.
• Accompany clients to appointments and run essential errands.
