Job summary

Willcare, part of the LHC Group and within the Optum family, is hiring Per Diem Personal Care Assistant I/II in New York. You will provide personal care, nutritional and environmental support to help clients stay at home.

The role includes ADL assistance, transfers, medication reminders, and documentation of care. Requirements include a NY training program or equivalent, CPR certification preferred, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must have NY training program in home health aide services OR equivalent exam OR one full year experience in providing personal care services through a home care agency OR training program in personal care services

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental support, nutritional support, and personal care in the home
• Assist with activities of daily living and transfer clients as needed
• Record measurements and report observations to supervisor
• Follow safety and care plans and utilize required programs
