Job summary

HomeWell Care Services Delaware is hiring Caring professionals to provide non-medical personal assistance to clients in Kent and New Castle Counties. Roles include companionship, household support, and personal care to help clients maintain independence.

We offer training, flexible full-time and part-time shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package. HHA/CNA certifications are welcomed but not required, with 6 months of caregiving experience acceptable for non-certified applicants.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certification welcomed but not required
• Caregivers without certification must have at least 6 months of direct caregiving experience
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
• TB test clearance required
• Criminal background and fingerprint check required
• Reliable transportation required – valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Ability to work one weekend day per month

Responsibilities

• Companionship and social engagement
• Household support – light cleaning, laundry, and meal prep
• Personal assistance – bathing, grooming, toileting and dressing support
• Mobility assistance and transfers
• Medication reminders
• Transportation and errand assistance (if applicable)

Education
