Job summary

Right At Home Sacramento-Davis is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to provide non-medical in-home support across Sacramento and surrounding areas. You will assist with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and light housekeeping, plus transportation to appointments.

You must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, your own vehicle, and be able to pass a full background check. Shifts include all seven days with AM/PM and overnight options.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia, hospice, incontinence, transfers with Hoyer, gait training, and using a slide board.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing and grooming.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Escort patients to medical appointments and run errands.
• Perform light housekeeping and remind patients to take medication.
• Care for bed-bound clients as needed.
• Use gait belts, slide boards, and Hoyer lifts.
• Provide companionship.
