Job summary

Right at Home in Fresno, CA is seeking compassionate home care aides to support seniors in daily living. You will assist with personal care, meal prep, transportation, light housekeeping and medication reminders, delivering safety, dignity and independence at home.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, ability to pass a background check, English proficiency and reliability. We value experience with dementia, hospice, incontinence, transfers using Hoyer lift, gait training

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia, hospice, incontinence, and safe patient transfers.
• Ability to use gait belts and slide boards.
• Must be able to read/write/speak English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• TB skin test requirement or completed TB test within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with dressing/grooming.
• Ambulation/transfers (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping activities.
• Medication reminders.
• Care of bed-bound clients.
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts, slide boards and Hoyer lifts.
• Provide companionship.
