Job summary

Right at Home Sacramento is hiring caring caregivers to support seniors in their homes across Sacramento and surrounding areas. You will help with daily living activities, companionship, and transportation, while maintaining safety and independence for clients.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid orientation, ongoing training, a positive team environment, and opportunities to grow with leadership support. A reliable vehicle and valid license are required to join our team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Able to pass a full employment background check.
• HCA Registration assistance available.
• TB skin test (completed within 90 days acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities of daily living, such as dressing/grooming.
• Ambulation/transfers (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany the client to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping and medication reminders.
• Care for bed-bound clients and use lifting equipment (Gait Belts, Slide Boards, Hoyer Lifts).
• Provide companionship.
