Right at Home is hiring caregivers in the Sacramento area to provide non-medical home care and companionship. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• TB skin test and background check required.
• HCA Registration—agency assistance available at offer.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities of daily living as needed.
• Assist with dressing and grooming for clients.
• Support ambulation and transfers safely.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Care for bed-bound clients when required.
• Utilize lifting equipment (gait belts, slide boards, Hoyer lifts).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

A homecare aide provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more! We service the following areas: Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland and Davis

We are hiring care providers who may have the skills and experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and NOC (overnight)

Essential Responsibilities:

• Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
• HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment)
• TB Skin test (can accept completed TB test not older than 90 days)
