Job summary

Touching Hearts at Home of Central VA is seeking responsible Home Care Aides for both full-time and part-time in-home care. Provide companionship and support on a one-to-one basis per each client's plan.

We offer flexible schedules, training and recognition for success, and opportunities to join a nationally recognized home care team. No experience is required as training is provided to help you care for older adults in their homes.

Qualifications

• Compassionate heart for older adults and strong customer service.
• Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle for client travel.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and travel up to 15 miles for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and monitor daily living activities.
• Assist with meal prep, laundry, and light housekeeping.
• Transport client to appointments and social outings.
• Standby assistance with personal hygiene.
• Overnight safety when required.
