Job summary

Addus Homecare is seeking Flex Home Care Aides to support seniors and individuals with disabilities at home. The role is on-site, requires following care plans, assisting with daily living tasks, light housekeeping, meals, transportation, and coordinating care with family and medical teams.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation; if driving, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Follow specific care plans for clients and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Transport client to doctor's appointments, grocery store and other errands.
• Assist client with the self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client's condition.
