Job summary

Addus HomeCare urgently seeks Flex Home Care Aides - HCAs to support seniors and individuals with disabilities living at home. The Home Care Aide - Core is on call for 5 days a week, with at least one weekend day and a 40-hour work week (20 hours guaranteed).

Qualifications

• Requires 5 days per week with at least one weekend day.
• 40 hours per week with 20 hours guaranteed.
• On-call for 24‑hour shifts.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Requires reliable transportation; if by car, license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Call office every morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing).
• Perform routine house cleaning, meal prep and laundry.
• Transport client to doctor's visits, stores, and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
