Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with I/DD in State College, PA. Competitive hourly pay and a $1,000 signing bonus are offered. Roles are available full-time and part-time with various hours.

Responsibilities include one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities, skill development, documentation, and ongoing training. Applicants must be 18+, pass background checks, and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to pass background checks.
• Willingness to provide companionship and respite care.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with personal-care and behavioral-support needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities.
• Support development of behavioral, social, and vocational skills.
• Assist with recreational and community activities and documentation of progress.
• Follow treatment plans and submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Provide companionship and respite care; participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with personal care needs as required; work independently in home and community settings.
