Job summary

Ochsner seeks a dedicated Security professional to enforce safety and security policies across hospital facilities. The role requires vigilance in patrolling, incident reporting, and collaboration with Administration to ensure patient, guest, and staff safety.

Eligible candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in security or related fields, and certifications such as BLS, CPI, and a valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Data entry proficiency and dexterity are required.
• Proficiency with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional reporting.
• Must be able to report for duty as Team A Essential Personnel in a disaster scenario.

Responsibilities

• Enforces all company safety and security rules, regulations, and policies on company property.
• Conducts routine inspections of on-site and off-site locations of the company.
• Investigates accidents and other incidents and reports all occurrences promptly.
• Performs opening/lockdown of all buildings as approved by Administration and performs other safety and security related duties.
• Participates in emergency response and related preparedness drills.
• Maintains required annual certifications and completes training requirements on time.
• Adapts interaction style to patient population and respects privacy.
