Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a security professional to safeguard patients, guests, and employees. You will enforce safety rules, perform inspections, investigate incidents, and support opening/lockdown procedures.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in security or related fields, BLS, CPI and firearms training, plus a valid driver’s license and a clean DMV record.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in Security, law enforcement, or military.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Valid driver’s license with clean DMV report.
• Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) and firearms training.

Responsibilities

• Enforces all company safety and security rules, regulations, and policies on company property.
• Conducts routine inspections of on-site and off-site locations.
• Investigates accidents and other incidents and reports findings.
• Performs opening/lockdown of buildings as approved by Administration and other security duties.
• Participates in emergency response and related drills.
• Maintains annual certifications and completes training on time.
• Engages with patients and staff respectfully and maintains privacy.
