Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bismarck, ND is seeking a dedicated laundry aide to maintain a clean, safe environment in a healthcare setting. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, following location-specific policies and infection prevention guidelines.

This day shift role requires ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand most of the shift, and work overtime, weekends or holidays as needed. A high school diploma and basic computer use are preferred; a valid driver’s license may be required in some

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to use a computer, prior cleaning experience in a healthcare setting, knowledge of materials, equipment and methods used in cleaning is helpful.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record where required.

Responsibilities

Perform day to day laundry tasks and maintain a clean environment in a healthcare setting.
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens according to location policies and infection prevention guidelines.
Use PPE as outlined and handle, store, and distribute clean laundry per procedures.
Lift 30-50 lbs and stand for most of the shift; may work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
