Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated laundry associate for our Bismarck, ND facility. You will perform daily laundry tasks, sort and wash linens, and ensure clean distribution of textiles in a healthcare setting.

Position requires adherence to infection prevention guidelines, use of PPE, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 32 hours weekly, day shifts, with benefits including health/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to use a computer, prior cleaning experience in a healthcare setting, knowledge of materials, equipment and methods used in cleaning is helpful.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day laundry tasks and maintain cleanliness in a health care setting.
• Follow infection prevention guidelines and location-specific processes for handling and distributing linens and laundry.
• Operate, sort, wash, dry, fold, and label linens and personal clothing as required.
• Use PPE and lift up to 30-50 lbs; maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
