The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with diverse patient needs while adhering to Life Care standards. Geriatrics experience is preferred, with emphasis on safety and teamwork in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required; geriatrics experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to implement and interpret department programs and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Demonstrates teamwork and communication with interdisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and evaluating quality activity programs across activities.
• Chart patient progress and behavior descriptively.
• Escort patients to and from activities.
• Visit patients unable to participate and encourage engagement.
• Ensure excellent customer service and positive attitude.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation requirements.
