The role involves safely transporting the deceased from the place of death to the care center or designated funeral home location, while communicating with families in a professional and empathetic manner.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and be 21 or older.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Experience as a first responder would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Respond to first calls from the dispatch service in a timely manner.
• Transport the decedent safely and professionally from place of death to the Care Center or the selected funeral home location.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with families and facilities, offering comfort and counsel to families and friends of the deceased.
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of all transport details.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of transport vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure that the service is professional and is efficient and accurate with attention to details.
• Maintain records of all personal effects.
• Attendance at company-based functions when required.
• Must always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be available for on-call shifts, including nights and weekends. The company provides a 24/7 service to families in need.
