sci is seeking a Funeral Services Assistant in Sarasota, FL to provide clerical and administrative support for funeral operations and assist with services, visitations, and ceremonies. You will greet families, answer questions, and help coordinate floral arrangements, memorials, and transportation as requested by management.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, strong compassion and communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred; proficiency with MS Office recommended.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and set up items for services (flowers, chairs, caskets, urns, keepsakes).
• Prepare documents related to services and maintenance as directed by management.
• Assist with the preparation of remains and operation of crematory as permitted by law.
• Perform general office duties (phones, fax, computers, multi-line system, payments).
• Run errands for supplies and floral deliveries; support visitation and funeral services.
