Job summary

Service Corporation International seeks a Funeral Services Assistant to support funeral operations and assist families with information and services. Responsibilities include greeting clients, assisting on services, and handling office duties with courtesy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Assist with preparation of remains and service-related tasks.
• Perform office duties (phones, fax, computer, multi-line phone system, debit card machine).
• Run errands for supplies and flowers; assist with visitation and funeral services.
• Greet clients; direct inquiries; ensure arrangements are in place for ceremonies.
