Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and other keepsakes.
• Prepares documents related to services and cremations as directed by management.
• Assists with preparation of remains and operation of crematory, as permitted by law and company policy.
• Performs office duties: answering phones, operating fax, computer, multiline phone system, and related devices.
• Runs errands for floral delivery and supplies.
• Serves as an usher and assists with transportation needs, including driving funeral home vehicles.
• Greet families entering the office and provide information and assistance.
• Accommodates family needs during services and visitations.
