Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years related experience as a Funeral Assistant.
Current state license/ driving record as required by state laws.

Responsibilities

Arrange and direct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized and caring manner.
Confirm authorization to proceed with the service arrangements.
Coordinate logistics for veterans recognition and other services as applicable.
Assist with transportation, ushering, chapel and cemetery duties, and handling keepsakes.
Provide aftercare by delivering documents and information to families; assist with pre-arrangements when needed.
Ensure licensing compliance and accurate completion of documents and entries.
Support general office duties and facility maintenance.
