Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services and assists with setup of floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, maintenance as directed by management.
• Assists with preparation of remains including dressing and lifting; operates crematory as permitted by law and company policy.
• Answers phones and handles office duties (fax, multiline phone system, etc.) and basic clerical tasks.
• Run errands for floral deliveries and supplies; ushers and may park cars or manage transport needs.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and transporting families; assists with visitation and memorial service set-up.
