Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a part-time associate to support funeral services and events. You will prepare rooms, set up furniture and mementos, serve refreshments as needed, and maintain a clean, respectful environment for families and guests.

You will greet visitors, anticipate needs, and assist with logistics during services or visitations while adhering to safety and confidentiality standards. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs. and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Safety Certificate may be required according to state regulations.
• Food and beverage server experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares rooms for services and events; sets up chairs, tables, and mementos.
• Displays floral arrangements and may arrange caskets and urns.
• Prepares table for refreshments; may serve food to guests.
• Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization during events.
• Greet customers; assist families with needs during services or visitation.
• Performs general cleaning; cleans restrooms and kitchens; restocks supplies.
• Notifies management of maintenance issues and ensures safety.
