Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes for client families.
• Assists with documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance as directed by management.
• Assists with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting, or operation of crematory as permitted by law.
• Performs office duties such as answering phones, operating the fax, computer systems, and other equipment.
• Runs errands for flowers, supplies, and documents; assists ushers and transportation needs.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and family transport as required.
• Ensures refreshments are available where allowed by law.
• Assists with visitations, memorials and funeral services including setup and dressings.
