Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work with families.
• Strong communication and compassionate interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services, including dressing and transport.
• Prepare rooms for services and arrange chairs, tables, flowers, guest books, and mementos.
• Greet visitors, provide programs, answer questions, and share funeral information.
• May serve as pallbearer or drive families to cemetery sites.
• After services, clean and store property, and handle memorial items and flowers.
