Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for services by arranging floral items, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepare documents related to services and cremations as directed by management.
• Assist with preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting as permitted by law.
• Answer phones and operate office equipment and systems.
• Run errands for floral deliveries and supplies.
• Serve as an usher and assist with transportation needs.
• Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensure refreshments are available where permitted by law.
• Assist with visitations and funeral services, including chapel setup and item delivery.
• Greet clients and provide information and assistance at the office.
