Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly over the phone or in person.
• Comfort with data entry and using a computer for routine tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and show kindness and compassion to families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services, including dressing and transporting.
• Prepare rooms for services, arrange chairs, tables, guest books, flowers and mementos.
• Greet visitors, provide programs, answer questions, and share funeral services information.
• May serve as pallbearer or drive families to cemetery site.
• Assist with post-service removal, cleaning, and storage of company property and mementos.
• Perform office tasks such as answering phones, screening callers, and light data entry.
