• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience as a Funeral Assistant.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Arranges, conducts and directs bereavement rites and services.
• Confirms authorization to proceed with service arrangements.
• Coordinate and inform families about veteran recognition/services.
• Assist with funeral services including parking, ushering, driving, and setup/teardown.
• Provide aftercare documentation and information to families as needed.
• Share pre-need referrals with Family Service Counselors.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and regulations.
• Complete documents and online entries for services and cremations.
• Assist with general office duties and reports.
• Maintain vehicles and facility.
• Receive and stock caskets and funeral supplies.
• Ensure refreshments are available where allowed by law.
