Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a General Manager to lead a portfolio of cemetery and funeral home locations. You will be hands-on, hire and motivate a winning team, and model honest communication and integrity to drive profitability.

You will measure performance, implement best practices, and provide guidance to ensure superior service for grieving families. Availability for holidays, evenings, and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business or related field.
• Minimum five years in management and personnel supervision.
• Experience leading multi-location operations and client-facing service.
• Understanding of budgeting and basic accounting principles.
• Prior cemetery/funeral home management experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Own all daily operations for your portfolio, including P&L responsibility.
• Achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profit; manage costs within guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams with ongoing coaching.
• Coordinate weekly managers meetings on staffing, development, and plans.
• Recruit, hire, and train staff in alignment with company standards.
• Oversee merchandise and property inventory for locations.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective partnerships.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across locations.
